More Emmy Jewelry Fashions - Edie Falco drop pendant earrings and black diamonds

Edie Falco brought threestrong trends to the red carpet. The dark sparkle of black diamonds and the pendant shape of her earrings and a monochromatic jewelry palette.  Black diamonds were becoming a popular choice for men’s jewelry and avant garde modern pieces. Their popularity sky-rocketed after an appearance in (no spoilers) Sex and the City 2.

I love them in the shape of these pendant drop earrings. I saw a few stars on the red carpet rock this evolution of the streamlined post earring shape. I’m so ready for earrings to return to the forefront of jewelry fashions.

And the most versatile trend of all is the single color throughout her jewelry choices. I picked black and white jewelry as a top fashion for Fall 2010, but I seriously think this trend is adaptable to any single color, witness Sofia Vergara's triumph. I think black works very well for the office, after-work and luxurious party situations.
